Carolina Tailwinds Employment Opportunities

We started Carolina Tailwinds 10 years ago with the vision of creating a fun and unique vacation experience for our guests.  Our desire was to share our passion for touring by bicycle and travel through a geographical area we know well and love.  It has been a fun and successful ride, and Carolina Tailwinds is growing fast.  We are looking for qualified candidates for our 2009 season to serve with us as tour leaders. 

Do you have the desire to create the best vacation experience for our guests?  Are you committed to putting customer service above your own needs at all times?

Do you possess superior people skills and leadership ability?  Do you have strong teamwork and organizational skills, enthusiasm, attention to detail and problem solving skills?

Are you physically fit and able to lift bicycles weighing 30 lbs above your head and carry luggage weighing up to 50lbs?

Are you passionate about cycling and love the outdoors?  Do you love sharing that passion with others, exhibit an engaging personality, and have a zest for life?

• Your completed application

• Cover letter explaining why you would make a great addition to our team

• Resume with employment & education history

• Driving Record (Contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles to get a copy of your driving record.  If you have any moving violations, please submit a written description of the incident along with a police report detailing their version of events.  We are unable to consider any applicant with a DUI/DWI on their driving record).

• Two letters of reference, detailing the writer’s relationship to you and the qualities that you possess that qualify you to serve as a tour leader.
